STEP 01

Creating a Client Profile

  1. 1Go to the Clients tab from your dashboard or bottom navigation.
  2. 2Tap "Add Client" in the top right corner.
  3. 3Enter the client's full name and phone number (required).
  4. 4Optionally add their WhatsApp number for easy sharing later.
  5. 5Fill in their body measurements (chest, waist, hips, etc.) in inches.
  6. 6Tap "Save Client" - their profile is now stored securely.

Tip: Save measurements once and never ask again. You can always view them from the client's detail page.

STEP 02

Logging a New Order

  1. 1Go to the Orders tab and tap "Add Order".
  2. 2Select the client from the dropdown (create one first if needed).
  3. 3Enter the style name (e.g., Agbada, Senator wear, Trouser).
  4. 4Add the fabric type and any design notes for reference.
  5. 5Enter the price and due date.
  6. 6Tap "Save Order" - a unique tracking token is generated automatically.

Tip: The tracking token lets your client follow their order progress without logging in.

STEP 03

Managing the Order Pipeline

  1. 1Open any order to see its full detail page.
  2. 2The production pipeline shows six stages: Pending, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, Ready, Delivered.
  3. 3Tap "Advance to [next stage]" to move the order forward.
  4. 4Use the status filter tabs on the Orders page to view orders by stage.
  5. 5The current stage is always highlighted on both your dashboard and the client's tracking page.

Tip: Update the pipeline as soon as you move to a new stage - your client sees it in real time.

STEP 04

Tracking Payments

  1. 1Open any order and scroll to the Payments section.
  2. 2Tap "Log Payment" to record a new payment.
  3. 3Enter the amount, choose Bank Transfer or Cash, and set the date.
  4. 4The dashboard shows your total outstanding balance across all orders.
  5. 5The Payments tab gives you a full overview of outstanding balances and payment history.

Tip: Log deposits when clients pay upfront, then log the balance on delivery.

STEP 05

Sharing the Client Tracking Link

  1. 1Open any order and tap "Share Tracking Link".
  2. 2WhatsApp opens with a pre-filled message containing the tracking link.
  3. 3Send it to your client - they can open it without logging in.
  4. 4The client sees a progress bar, step-by-step timeline, and estimated delivery date.
  5. 5No payment details are shown to the client - only the production status.

Tip: Share the link as soon as you log the order so clients can follow along from day one.

STEP 06

Using the App on Mobile

  1. 1TheZynar is designed mobile-first - everything works on your phone.
  2. 2The bottom navigation bar gives you quick access to Dashboard, Clients, Orders, and Payments.
  3. 3On desktop, a sidebar appears on the left with the same navigation.
  4. 4Quick-call and WhatsApp buttons are available on every client profile.
  5. 5All data syncs in real time across devices.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my client data secure?

Yes. All client profiles and measurements are stored securely and only accessible through your authenticated account.

Do my clients need to create an account?

No. Clients track their orders through a unique public link - no signup required on their end.

Can I edit measurements after saving?

Currently, measurements are saved when you create the client. You can view them anytime from the client detail page.

What happens if I advance the wrong stage?

Each tap moves the order to the next stage. Use the pipeline carefully - it updates the client's tracking page instantly.

Can I use this for my whole team?

TheZynar supports solo tailors and small studio teams. You can assign orders to team members using the "Assigned To" field.
